This year we decided upon a reduced itinerary and a short trip over to Belgium and the Spa-Francorchamps race-track. After meeting in Calais we drove in convoy to Spa. The next day we had the legendary Mike Wilds join us for private tuition all day long on track which enabled everyone to make the most of a stunning day. In the evening we had dinner at the Spa-Francorchamps museum with a fantastic collection of cars including Formula 1 and World Rally Cars.
The next day we embarked on a beautiful drive through the forests of The Ardennes as we wound our way back towards the UK. The event finished with a great tasting meal at a Château in France and a tour of their extremely well appointed cellar, a most enjoyable experience.
