The start this year was the Schloss Bensburg outside Cologne. After a meal cooked by Germany’s finest chef, we headed east towards the Kempinski in Dresden. Following a tour of VW’s glass factory, we headed north to our private track day at the Eurospeedway, a fantastic race-track in East Germany. We were privileged enough to have Gumpert join us with their Apollo Sport as well as Audi with their new S5 and RS6, at the time the most powerful estate ever produced.
After an unexpected diversion through Munich, we headed down to Austria and two stunning lakeside Schloss hotels. The drivers ended the tour aboard a yacht in Split, Croatia on jet-skis. A nice end to a long week.
